Hello Users,

I am looking to use the file address in Attribute Feild "Photo_Name_01" of the attached .dwg,as a hyper-link so that users of the file can open the associative photo. How do i go about doing this.

Kind Regards, James Baker

Don't seem to be possible through fields. Can think of lisp to do this. BTW, do you add the path into the Attribute 1st or do you create the hyperlink? Also you seem to have several attributes for extra photos, how would you want to handle more than one hyperlink?

This file has come from a GPS data logger export and the photos are assigned hyper-link address in the stages of data collection, as for our version of autocad we are using 2010 standard install however i thank you for the advise and will looking to the other program you have mentioned

I just tried quickly and it seemed to work. Of course the link will be broken for you because it references my computer.

But I found that instead of editing the block you just hover the cursor over the Hyperlinked field and the window comes up to say Ctrl + click to follow the link.

Opening Enhanced Attribute Editor is to change the hyperlink to something else.
