    Default Downloaded block coming in black.

    I downloaded this file from net, it is a block of a washing machine.
    But i dont really know why is the entire thing coming in black!!!
    Can someone come to my rescue!

    It's black because it has Vray materials assigned to it. Mental Ray does not understand Vray materials so it defaults to black.

    1. Open your Render Setup dialog and change the production renderer to Mental Ray.

    2. Open your Material Editor > Go to the "Utilities" menu > Select "Reset Material Editor Slots"

    3. Apply new materials to the model
