Siberian
I never got how to use schedules to find the quantity of pipes/ducts, i.e. the summarized length of pipes or ducts. The out of the box schedule "Pipe Quantity" only gives me the number of pipes, but not the total added lenght of them, which is what I need. I've tried to modify the schedule, but to no evail. Any ideas?
tzframpton
Sure. Take a look at this stripped down model I did for a takeoff on a recent job: http://www.tannarzane.com/images_cadtutor/05-25-11/111102_-_Cyrus_Takeoff.zip When you open it, right-click on a schedule and click "Edit Schedule Table Style". Look at my parameters set under the Length column. I know it's in Imperial and not Metric, but you'll get the idea.
Kremer
Styke your table is the only way I can get the schedules to work, thank you very much for posting it. However I was just updating my schedule and I noticed it said I only had 2 4" tee's, when I knew there were at least 3 (I can see three in one area). The tee's don't have any other alias, and the list is short so I can't see it added in anywhere else. Have you come across this before? I tell the contractor to take the numbers I give him with a grain of salt, still it'd be an issue if this occurred with the quantity of a long length of pipe. tzframpton
Are you re-selecting the items and refreshing the table? What is the procedure you're using?
Kremer
I was simply selecting the schedule and hitting update on the ribbon.
tzframpton
You have to right-click the Schedule, go to Selection and click "Add". Reselect everything in the model, then Update.
