    Default XYZ Gizmo problem

    when ever i create an object the xyz move gizmo appears and i dont want it to appear, also when i try to create a window by using snaps it is not made correctly because one value stays at 0 lets say lenght stays at 0
    it recently happened, i think i hit a hotkey on accident it was working fine until the xyz gizmo started appearing.

    That seems odd. Never had that happen before.
    When you say it recently happened, do you mean a few hours ago or a few days ago? Have you tried closing Max and restarting?

    Is it possible that maybe you changed the default Position Controller?

    Try this:
    Select any object
    Go to the Command Panel > Motion Tab
    Expand the "Assign Controller" rollout
    Expand the object’s "Transform: Position" and click on the one for Position to highlight it
    Click the "Assign Controller" button
    Check the list and make sure “Position XYZ” is selected. If it's not, click it and then click the "Make Default" button

    thanks for the reply,
    I tried but the issue remained, i ended up resetting max forgetting that i had not saved :/, the drawing is gone and so is the problem

    Sometimes Max just freaks out and does weird things. Closing it down and then restarting it usually gets things back to normal.
