Default Multi core cable fan in - fan out and cable numbering "HELP"

    Hi,

I am hoping that someone out there can assist me with the following:

i am trying to insert a multicore cable between two components, the cable has 6 wires and i want to use the fan in - fan out function to display the connection details and information at each end of the cable and at the same time i need to give the cable a unique cable number.

The result i am looking for is for is a single cable with a cable number, where each end there is a fan in - fan out where the source and destination information is displayed at each end of the wire.

I have attached a screen shot in the hopes of clarification....... the red elipse shows the visa versa to from information of the fan in - fan out and the purple elipse shows the cable and cable number.

Is this even a function of ACE 2011 can the software cope with multicore cables?

Looking Forward to any and all feedback.

    Many Thanks

    Regards

    Simon
