ddave
Hi I am working on piping plan. I have four differents pipes on same layer. I would like to change color of one pipe in active viewport and keep the layer color unchanged in same Viewport. I would like to keep the layer color unchanged for model space or other viewports. Is there any way to change the property of an object in active viewport? Thanks in advance.
nestly
I don't think there's any way to change the color of an individual object by viewport unless that object is on it's own layer. If that one "pipe" has to be displayed differentl than all the other pipes on that layer, then perhaps it should be on it's own layer anyway. Use whatever makes that pipe different than the other pipes to define the new layer name. For example create an additional layer with the same name except add an "X" for eXisting, or maybe a "P" or Proposed, or "D" for Demo, or "R" for Relocate... you get the idea.
