Has anybody had any compatibility issues with solidworks 2010 creating design tables with Microsoft office 2010.

I went to add a design table automatically but nothing happened.

This happened when I was sitting the core 1 of cswp exam.

Wow! geee. That would be great, if only I knew that BEFORE I upgraded.

It was not necessary to remove the old version, just because you upgraded. I still have Excel 2003 and have it set to my default, even though I have several later versions. I do not uninstall (or at least keep the install CD) until I am satisfied with the new version.

Now you know why some keep old software around. :ouch:

Fair play. I'm relentless for jumping to quickly down the rabbit hole.

Been there and done that myself. I still have floppies for DOS programs.

Have you given OpenOffice a shot yet?

Yeah I used to have it on my Dell laptop until it went for a flying lesson out my window.

I found it almost identical to microsoft office. That was a few years ago now.

I did a little digging and looks like there may be a hotfix for some 32/64 bit OLE object issues that might be causing you guys grief.

I was digging back through SW2010 service pack release notes. What Service packs are you guys using on your installs. Are they 32bit or 64 bit systems?
