all layers (roughly 30) except 1 ....

how do I print them in the same colour ?

Use a monochrome ctb or stb and alter the color from black to whatever color you want.

In the plot, pen table edit pick pen number then press and hold shift, pick last pen number then set colour required could pick 1st and last in one go save as something different.

Just open your layer manager, select all layers, change color, close layer manager, print, then Undo a couple of times to get your layer colors back.

CAD64.. that was my first effort, but it doesn't work as many of the colour of many oblects is not specified as "by layer"

Do you use a ctb or a stb plot style?

(knew I should have put this in the beginners forum :wink: )

Where would I find out this info ?

CTB = color dependent plot style.

STB = named plot style.

When you click on Plot Style Table and look at the drop-down list do the plot style names end in with CTB or STB?

Right hand side at top "Plot style table (pen assignments)" it will probably say acad.ctb or none if none pick acad.ctb then click on the little buttonto the right again of the words the "plot style table editor" will appear you can change a plot style colour to be a different pen color left side v's right side pick all the color numbers as before using shift if you want lots changed to one colour then pick on right the actaul color you want plotted. Then save & close giving it a new name.
