adelineowl
Hey guys. First of all, sorry for the lousy quality of the images! I had to use my phone camera. Below are the few questions I would like to seek help! Thanks a lot in advance I am using AutoCad 2008 Paper size: A4 Plot to: PDF For plot scaling, is there any settings for me to change so that I do not have to scroll all the way down to get it plotted 1:1? Same for VP scaling, as seen in the above image, there are many scaling for me to choose from, too many that it takes me ages to scroll down all the way to get 1:100, I am not even kidding. Is it because of my setting? What is wrong?
Cad64
Use the SCALELISTEDIT command to weed out all of those unnecessary scales.

tzframpton
I believe there's a HotFix for this. Search the Autodesk website for it, make sure to get it for your version.

rkent
You do need to clean up all those scales, but in the mean time simply type 100 in the lower box where it currently reads 0.03938
designerstuart
did you read the install docs carefully? i think there is something tricky about where you put the .exe file before you run it...? remembering from a long time ago......
SLW210
Always glad to be of no help! Does your keyboard have a PrintScreen key?
adelineowl
> rkent I am trying to do the clean-up, but seems like I am not doing it correctly? Usually I set the plot scale to be 1:1, is 1:100 better? > designerstuart It says Installation Instructions To install the Scale List Cleanup Utility You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft® Windows® operating system to complete installation. Based on your operating system (32-bit or 64-bit), download the appropriate self-extracting executable file. Select a folder. Extract files to the selected folder. Navigate to the folder and copy CleanupScales.exe, CleanupScalesRes.dll, and CleanupScales.html to the installation directory of your AutoCAD-based product. NOTE: To run this utility you must launch CleanupScales.exe from the installation directory of your AutoCAD-based product. I copied the files to where my AutoCad folder is, am I doing it correctly? > SLW210 I am using windows OS on a MacBook, so no, I do not have the print screen key :/ if I used on-screen keyboard, it does not show the list. Sorry for the lousy image quality! Hey guys, really appreciate all the replies!
