I use AutoCAD Land Desktop 2004. I have experienced this problem a couple of time now; when I create an alignment that is almost at the same place as a previously created alignment, when I try to sample from the existing ground surface nothing happens and the drawing freezes like that. Is it because I am sampling too close from an other alignment that this problem occurs, because last time this problem occured, I just extended a bit my new alignment and I could continue with profiling the alignment.
