funk
Hi all, just downloaded autoCAD2012 and am going through some of the new features. I drew an arc polyline and then drew a rectangle, I then moved the rectangle to sit on the line. Once I move it here it seems to stick to the arc line, so if i move the rectangle, where the line is hitting the shape drags along with it. I would prefer it not to stick for the time being. Any help, cheers
nestly
Sounds like you just discovered the wonderful world of Geometric Constraints. My guess is that you have Infer Constrainst turned on. There's a toggle button between the drawing coordinates and the Snap/Grid buttons. Turning that off will prevent new constraints from being added automatically, however you'll still have to delete those that have already been applied. There should be a little blue square near the intersection, when you get near it, a somewhat transparent box will appear, right click on it and pick "Delete"
