Importing ZYX data into & out of autocad 2011

Hello all

I was wondering if someone knew of any free (not trial) software that would allow me to import z x y corordintaes into autocad 2011.

Also is there anyway of exporting x y z data out of autocad?

Go to Cadtips.com and search for "Ascii" - there are at least two lisp files that may do what you want.

If neither of those fit your needs, search google for "ascpoint.lsp"

With out any lsp or extras you can use the point command with the mulitple command.

There is a nice article on this very topic at this link. The LISP file is free and it works well for what I've done with it. YMMV.
