:?:?:oops:Hello I am still really new at CAD and was hoping someone could help me. I am trying to convert a drawing to PDF but I keep losing the hatch in the conversion. Is this normal? Can the hatch be converted to PDF with the rest of the drawing? Please help! :?:?:?:?

How are you 'converting'?

Is the Hatch on a non-plot layer? Look in the Layer Manager if you see a red line over the printer-icon.

Tiger, I have NOOOOO WORDS!!!! That was exactly my problem. The layer I created was off for printing and then I realized that the hatch was not on the right layer it was on a defpoint layer!!!!

YOU ROCK!!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!

I have been trying for a week now and didn't understand why it wasn't working!!! I guess it also helps if I would have put it on the appropriate layer and not the defpoints layer. lololol, THANK YOU!

 glad to help ZCampos, I think everyone have beaten their head against the dashboard at one point or another until you find the Non-Plot-button :)

For futurue reference, don't use the Defpoints layer for pretty much anything. You can create as many layers and you need and set them plot / non-plot as you wish, the Defpoints layer can sometimes mess things up. So just stay clear of it just in case :)
