fisher22
Hi, Im completly new to CAD so this is probably going to sound stupid but how would I find the distance between two offset lines. Basicaly what I have got is straight line with an original offset line at the base and I have copied this line at different distances along the line, but I need a way to double check the distances from the original line. Again sorry if it is really simple. thanks alot, Steve
nestly
You have several options including: Distance command (DIST) and pick any two points MeasureGeometry command (MEASUREGEOM) from the Ribbon or the Command line, and pick any two points Create a dimension between any two points. eldon
Using Osnaps, the first pick point will be at the End, Middle or Near the line, and then for the second pickpoint, you must use Perpendicular to the second line.
BlackBox
This may help: (command "._dist" "near" pause "perp")
