Ok it seems that I may be overlooking something simple. This is what I am currently dong. I have a detail sheet with several different scales. I want to use annotative dimensions and mleaders so I don't have to create the many dimstyles for different scales.

 

My set up:imagine a model space with 4 squares reprsenting 4 different scales. I start annotating in 1"=1'-0". Then I go to another detail at 3/4" = 1'-0". When I change my scale using that item in the lower right my annotations in the 1"=1'-0" also changes. I don't want it to change I want it to stay at 1"-0". How can I make it stay at 1'=1'-0" regardless of whatever other scale I have switched to?
