On 2000, what do I have to do in order to leave a mark behind after picking points when calculating the area?

    Thanks

BLIPMODE controls whether temporary pick point marks are shown on screen, not sure if it affects picks in an "area" command. I feel more certain I'm selecting the correct boundary for an area calc by actually drawing a polyline, or creating one with the "boundary" command.
