There is a pdf-printer inside AutoCAD that makes pdf-files from dwg's. (Is it automatically on every AutoCAD?)

But pdf's to dwg's. I don't think that's possible. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

    Try this:

    http://anydwg.com/pdf-to-dwg.html

The company claims to have a PDF to DWG (DXF) conversion program that does not require AutoCAD.

They also have a whole host of other conversion programs as well. See the listing to the far right of the opening web page.

Yeap, that seems to do the trick.

But it's not free after the trial period...

Also not free: open the PDF in Corel Draw and export as DXF or even as DWG. Not free and not cheap

Tip: Please do not PM or email me with CAD questions - use the forums, you'll get an answer sooner.

A real cludge of a way, but if all else fails

    Well..... it's free...

    Setup A Large Format Plotter

    Add a monochrome HP plotter
HP 600 Drivers come with Windows now
I use the 36" roll paper and E size
It needs to be an older HP that doesn't support PCL
Configure it to plot to a file only

    Plot The PDF File

Plot the PDF file to the HP plotter
Plot to a predefined scale if possible.

Convert The HPGL2 PLT File to DXF

There are free converters than can do this conversion.
    Govert's Tools has 1
    http://www.output.tmfweb.nl

    DXFIN The New File

Use ACAD's DXFIN in a new DWG
Do not use a template DWT

    Scale The New DWG

Scale everything in the dwg the inverse of the plotting scale
If there was no way to plot to scale, hopefully
there is 1 dimension somewhere in the drawing that is
known and can be compared to the the DXF data.

    Trace The Line

You can use endpoint snap to trace the lines in the new dwg.
Erase all of the unused PDF junk

    Draw Backs

    Very Very Large Drawings
    Scaling can be tedious
Scales must be checked and double checked
    Tracing can be very tedious
