New Smilies

CADTutor

Recommended Posts

I noticed recently that some of you are linking to external smilies (perhaps because the range here at CADTutor is too limited - no BEER smiley for example). So I thought I should add some new smilies to the library so that you can be more expressive and have more fun. There are 12 new smilies and a few updated smilies. Hope you like them and that it will make your forum experience more streamlined. Here are a few of the new ones:

:notworthy:  :pumping: :surrender: :excited: :celebrate: :winner: :playing:

There are now 64 smilies in all but if you have a favourite that isn't in our library, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Your post made me laugh. I got a kick out of the "wave-the-white-flag-of-surrender" smilie. I could have used that a few dozen times easily.

We need a smilie holding a wooden paddle or a baseball bat for the times when someone asks for a keygen or password or a download link for illegal software. Or maybe a smilie wearing a police hat and sunglasses.

Great idea. So for those of you who would like to issue warnings, admonishments etc. I've added 4 new smilies. Hope you like 'em.

In addition to 'laughing' (lol), may we have something animated for 'lmao'...?

Does that really fit in with the 'suitable for ALL workplaces and colleges' ethos though?

Loving the new set David :celebrate: - I just need to learn the codes now!

BTW - can we have a smiley that substitutes ;) please? Typing out : wink : is a bit tedious, and sooo many people use ;) without realising they won't get a cute yellow guy out of it
