I doubt that your eyes are older than mine,but you could try opening in ms paint.

What particuler plot settings ,do you require???

I am really grateful for your help so far.Being an idiot I had not expanded the right hand side of the plot dialogue box!!!!!!

Now that I have---the shaded viewport selections are identical to yours,the only discernable difference is that I'm plotting in portrait mode. Any further suggestions,please.

Must apologise to all for being a time-waster!!!!!!

Now I've got to grips with the expanded plot dialogue box everything is fine.

As I wrote in my last message,I've gone all these years without realising there was an extension to the plot dialogue box---once you

pointed that out,it was just a case of putting in the values you indicated.
