ThrashMetal Posted August 22, 2011 Share Posted August 22, 2011 this is a follow up on the "the configuration heidi..." pop up error that i have experienced, there is a thread on this but the only solution which came up is turning off the hardware accelerator which one cad moderator has mentioned it is just a way around the problem and we must know the reason "why" we must turn off our hardware accelerator. one also mentioned that it could be the graphics card that one is using, i followed the instructions given by cad64 which is to clean all autodesk installed, all folders,files, everything, but when i reintalled, the same problem presented itself and this is what i got in the view log: Performance Tuner Results Log Version: 18.1.0.5 Date of Last Tune: 8/22/2011 Machine Configuration --------------------- Processor Speed : 2.4 GHz RAM : 4021 MB 3D Device --------- Name : NVIDIA GeForce GTS 360M Manufacturer : NVIDIA Chip set : GeForce GTS 360M Memory : 2761 MB Driver : 8.16.0011.8829 Your machine contains a certified 3D Device with a driver version that is certified. Current application driver: acaddm10.hdi Current Effect Status: ---------------------- Enhanced 3D Performance: Available and on Smooth display: Not recommended and off Gooch shader: Available and using hardware Per-pixel lighting: Available and on Full-shadow display: Available and on Texture compression: Available and off Advanced material effects: Available and on can anyone tell me what "Your machine contains a certified 3D Device with a driver version that is certified." means? i really need help..thanks a bunch.
