I use Stand7 occasionally although not that often. Never even heard of Algor Simulator before.

I usually use a hydraulic press for FEA.
Harbor Frieght and Northern tools have some good prices.

I'm not sure exactly, although it is a few thousand per license.

i know algor for a long, now [a year half polish programming half french gui] autodesk has broght robot millennium (struct suite), small bros. ANSYS big bro.
