    Default australian structural steel 3d standard connection blocks for autocad

    Hi all, just wandering if anybody would know if there are Autocad blocks available for australian standard structural steel connections (beam to beam, beam to column, etc) for download. Thanks. NV

    if you have a set of steel shop drawings designed by an engineer it's probably simple enough to create them.

    Sorry to be the bearer of bad news most companies take a fair bit of effort to create their block libraries and at a cost so are not generally publicy available would you give away something that had cost you a lot of money ?

    Anyway serach a bit more there is lots of lisps etc that do this and there is a number of commercial products that you can buy that do what you want Struc-plus, Wiseyssteelshapes.zip to start you off.

    Mostly do drafting related to manufacturing. From doing site layouts with proposed updates, additions and renovations to be budgeted and submitted for bid, to updating and changing existing drawings to reflect maintenance and repair/revision work done on site.
