is there a way to do an autocad export from sketchup with all the layers ? Autocad 2d graphic loses all the layers properties making it practically impossible to do editing in autocad. I'm using pro version of sketchup

I never thought about this myself but I just tried and I did not get my layers either. Yeah a bummer to be sure but I guess one will need to do a bit of clean-up and assign layers in CAD

Used SU Pro 8 and AutoCAD 2011

From memory there's a settings button in the export 'save as' window which handles things like this, CAD file versions, etc.
