Ramair22
Hi all! Just recently my AutoCAD 2012 seems to be lagging with I enter the "Line" Command. The computer is brand new, not even a month old . I don't know if the computer automaticlly updated itself that caused the glitch. I have updated all my graphics card drivers from AMD and the problem still persistant. Now, CAD does start up fine but when I start to draw, enter the "Line" Command, the cursor starts to flicker and when I move it around the screen it starts to lag alot. Please HELP!! Thank you! Ramair22
Well I was able to figure it out. Apprently, Windows 7 updated and turned off the Hardware Acceleration Option. I started messing with it and it fixed the problem.

Ramair22
Well on the botton right corner in CAD. There is a picture there with a cip and a light bulb, click on it and you will have a prompt there tell you to "Hardware Acceleration On". Click on it and it should work. nicolea
Reconcileing layers does not help any. There is no xrefs in the drawing either, so that may be part of it.
