In a continuing effort to improve our products and address customer feedback and CER reports we have released the AutoCAD 2012 and AutoCAD LT 2012 Service Pack 1 for download. One highlight is the pre-AutoCAD 2012 Classic Array behavior now as the ARRAYCLASSIC command.
We wish to sincerely thank the many customer beta testers that provided feedback during the* beta cycles of this Service Pack. Their feedback and CER reports are critical to shipping the best product quality we possibly can.

Yeah, last year Update1 was released on 8/24 and I think it caused more problems than it fixed. Update1.1 was released 9/16 to fix Update1. I skipped Update1 last year because 2011 was working well for me, but since 2012 has been ill behaved, I've been waiting for this impatiently. Aside from hoping it fixes the stability issues, I'm really happy to have the Array Dialog back, I already fixed my Ribbons and toolbars, to bring up the dialog version. I'll type ARRAY if I want the new fancypants counter-intuitive command line version.
I guess no more joy for the guy that was selling the ClassicArray addon for $12 or whatever, wonder how much he made off of Autodesks lack of forethought?![]()
