Benjo
Hi, When i type something in the command promp like a command or a dimension, there seem to be kind of a delay/lag and i can't find what the problem could be. Example, if i type the command "line" normaly fast without mixing letters on the keyboard it could be lnie, ilne, ect.. or just miss letters. I have to type pretty slow. help please! Cad64
Are you working on drawings that are saved on a network? If so, copy a drawing to your desktop and see if you get the same problem.
Jack_O'neill
Are you perhaps running the program remotely on another machine? If so, you should get your IT dept to install it locally.

DANIEL
do you have any anti virus or spyware running you could try temperarily turning off? windows automatic updates can cause lags for some as well.
Jack_O'neill
Ok, a few basic questions are in order here. 1. Is this a new install and has done this from the start? 2. If not a new install, when did this aberration begin? 3. Have you recently added any new software (email client, browser, antivirus, etc)? 4. How long has it been since you rebooted? 5. How many other programs do you have running at the same time?

That may be your problem.
