Lagviper Posted September 21, 2011 Share Posted September 21, 2011 Seems like i export the data of thickness, diameter, lenght and mass to excel via dataextraction, but if i change something in the drawing, its not updated in the excel file.. Am i doing something wrong or its simply like that? I also wanted to export the data to an already existing part list template, but this seems impossible... Here's what i tried, -eattext -*> setup dxe file -> select which dimensions i want to extract from the dynamic block -> link external data -> launch data link manager -> select which excel file i want -> had an excel file with A1 having just A in it -> entire sheet to link to -> drawing data column = A, external data column = A -> check match -> error, no match was found between any values in the drawing data and external data. 1- is this the way to export cad data to excel and have a live link? 2- if so, what am i doing wrong Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
