Is anyone here knowlegeable with the use of 3-D Content Central? I attempted to upload a zip file containing all the part files needed for an assembly in Solidworks, including the assembly file, of course, and the file did not go through. It is app. 10MB. Any one know the procedure here.

gotchy, what error are you getting?

Solidworks has a forum dedicated to just 3d content central so maybe if you type in which error you are getting something will come up.

https://forum.solidworks.com/community/design_collaboration/3d_contentcentral

You probably already looked but there is a help section as well for uploads.

http://www.3dcontentcentral.com/help/3DCC_SS_Upload.aspx

There are some specifics in there about naming conventions so if you didnt read through that it could be the issue.

The error message is "not added and cannot be uploaded"

Thanks to your links I have found my answer. Evidentally, 3-DCC will not accept assemblies with more than 20 individual parts. Mine is 4 times that.

Thanks for your help.

no problem gotchy, there are ways to simplify that, i believe they are outlined in the help file link. You can also share content on GrabCAD.com I have a lot of my cars and other solidworks things on there.
