Shape to flat form

Hi All,

Can anyone put me on the right path to form a flat shape of a surface in rhino. For example if I have a plate on the side of a hull how would I go about changing this shaped plate to a flat sheet allowing cutting its actual shape before bending. I would appreciate any help.

Hi dedmin,

Thanks for your reply. I checked out Unroll and found that its works on surfaces with only one curve. On surfaces with double curves it does not work. But it was worth trying and thanks for the tip.
