neuri
Hello, I got a problem, I inserted a block into a drawing, it's original layer is ELEC-SYM. But when I move it to another layer by selecting object then selecting target layer, some objects still remain on ELEC-SYM. I exploded it, changed the layer, and still they remain on ELEC-SYM while some successfully moved to the new layer. Any ideas? I tried XR but it only shows the current drawing. There are no block attributes or definitions. Thanks.
Sphiinx
Neuri, Use the command BEDIT... Choose your block. In the Block Editor you can move which ever items you want to on the new layer. It sounds like the issue where some of the items change when you explode it, and some do not.... like there is a nested block, a block within a block. Try it out. Also here are some helpful tips from Autocad Help,
