Default Path array problem with elipses

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

Does anyone have a solution to this?: The path array in 2012 is a very useful addition but I can't crack a solution to creating an array around an elipse (like chairs around a board room table). The only way I've found it to work is to break the elipse and then join up the gap, essentially creating a closed eliptical arc. This gets a result but it seems a very scrappy work-around to something which should simply work. Any suggestions?

    Thanks

In a previous thread, I think that it was discovered that the block was arrayed relative to the base point of the ellipse, which seemed to be at the right hand end of the horizontal axis.

Perhaps a screen shot to show where your block is in relation to the ellipse would help, or post a drawing.

Thanks for the advice, the solution is to start the array from the first point of the ellipse axis.
