MisterJingles
Really? I have tried selecting HATCH then the object and vice versa, both ways I get this error.
CyberAngel
According to its properties, the polyline is not closed. That is why you get the message. Use Polyedit to close the polyline.
MisterJingles
CyberAngel - Thanks. I right clicked the Polyline, closed it, properties now say "Closed - Yes", and yet I still get the same error. Any other ideas?
JBullseye74
Try again with the whole object visible in the screen view. I hope this helps
SuperCAD
Try increasing the HPGAPTOL setting. I get this a lot with 2008 when I know darn well that the polyline is closed but it won't hatch. How far is the area you want to hatch from the drawing origin (0,0,0)? Try moving it closer to the origin too.
MisterJingles
Bullseye - Unfortunately the object is very long and narrow, its not possible to do that. Supercad - I moved it closer to the drawing origin but still no joy, but increasing the HPGAPTOL fixed the problem. Annoying! Thanks everyone.
