eforen
I would like to be able to extrude an object then do a subtract or something similer, then somehow put the subtract on a layer so if i hide said layer the extrueded object will be showen as if it never had the subtract applyed. But if the layer is show agean then the extrued will have a hole in it agean. Can someone tell me how to do this or if it is even posible? P.s. for an example of one thing this could be used for, modeling wrenches with difrent shaped grips but the same handle. Without just making multiple copys of the handle. tzframpton
Your question isn't very clear, but I'm thinking you might be able to use the INTERFERE command. The benefit, is that you can uncheck the box that deletes the interference. So it acts like a SUBTRACT, but instead it adds an extra sold where the SUBTRACT command would take it away.
