jrn
I know of DIMRND, but how is it possible make acad round dimensions UP (within a specified value) instead of to the nearest? (This could be very handy to make various lengths of wooden baseboards and other mountings fit to machine cabinet standard lengths. I'd like to keep all the work in acad, and avoid ms-excel.) Best wishes.
JD Mather
You could easily do this with dynamic blocks.
jrn
That's a good solution, but in this case its not the actual objects drawn that should fit to the given standard length. I have a 2D plan of the building. Along the walls I'll have to indicate the length of the panels. So I would like just to make measurements according to these walls - along the walls. These dimensions would give the length of the panels required. So it's a sort of a adjustment of the dimension tools I'm looking for. Can you follow me?
