    Default how to calculate center of gravity

    i have made a bowl of material of certain thickness (assume steel sheet). And now i want to calculate the center of mass of the bowl. How can i do that.
    Plz help

    if it is made in acad 3d graphics, the centroid can be obtained using the auto cad command 'MASSPROP'.

    ok that will give me the centroid. But will it give the cg if suppose i change one part of my bowl from steel to iron.

    Not in plain autocad, you will need to find the centroid of each item and recalculate the assembly centroid separately.
