ReMark
I'm guessing from your inquiry this was not a network deployment?
SLW210
Is this a 32-bit AutoCAD? Make sure you have administrator rights on the computer. Try a clean UNINSTALL & REINSTALL of all Autodesk products. Check with Microsoft Windows, could be a Windows 7 problem.
edwinprakoso
Error 1603 is difficult to resolve. It is general code for issue that unknown, usually Microsoft related. Cleaning Autodesk product might help, but you might want to check these first: 1. Try to install prereq manually. I found most problem is when installing .NET framework. Install it manually FROM YOUR DVD. Different version of .NET will not work. 2. Also make sure you exit anti virus and everything that might interrupt installation. AutodeskCare
Have you tried this path? Might get some good insight there - http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/forums/searchpage/tab/message?q=1603
