Im looking to carry out FEA on sports bike chassis and wondering if anyone has got or knows where i can obtain the chassis either blue prints or the drawing to work on solid works. shift1313 Posted January 15, 2012 Share Posted January 15, 2012 Welcome aboard. I dont know of anywhere you can get an accurate set of blueprints or a drawing for the chassis. Most factory service manuals will have the best diagrams and dimensions but even then you really have no way of knowing what the material actually is, how thick the sections are and so on. I would say any info you get out of some sort of analysis is going to be useless. is this for some sort of project? if you go to GrabCad there are some chassis on there.
