Door Tag Annotation Scale Need Help Understanding

Hello,

I am trying to create a door tag that the text will be a 1/16" high when plotted at 1/4" = 1'-0" viewport scale. So far I am having no luck.

I created the tag with a text height of 1" or 1 AutoCad unit.

I have Annotation Plot Size set to 1/16". (under Drawing Setup)

I have Scale set to 1'-0" = 1'-0". (under Drawing Setup)

I used aecdefinetag to create the tag.

What am I doing wrong?

Or is there a way to create a door tag that is not annotive?

Thanks

I think I figured it out.

1'-0" = 1'-0" = 12 paper inches = 12 drawing inches

1:1 = 1 paper inch = 1 drawing inch

As soon as I set the scale to 1:1 it works just fine (so far)

Now to go and tag 62 doors in 23 xrefs and see if it keeps working.
