    Default CAD layout to Illustrator

    Hi Folks

    I want to open a DWG file in illustrator but only have the layout open, not the entire
    drawing thats in model space.

    Is this possible?

    I believe 2009 had export to layout... if so export and save as .dxf (r12) then open in AI...
