    it is always a fight. If Upper managment had their way, I would still be working in Autocad 14. As my boss does not understand the technology, and will not listen. I usually have to go to the owner to get what I want, but then I also have to pay the consequences for going outside the chain of command. I just got used to paying the consequences. My answer usually is, I did what I needed to do, to get the job done.

    Update ....

    first off, thanks for all the great advise here, it obviously helped me through some issues with my employer who is now actually listening to me and actually gave me a raise over it lol, thanks again .
    If you would like to help my 2 year old niece Alaina in her battle against Leukemia you can donate blood at any Carter Blood Care and put SPON050875 on the donor form. Thank you so much for any contributions in this matter that you can make.

    You write that you included samples of your work with your resume. How many did you send and what size did you send? Just curious as I have never considered sending samples with the resume, just bringing some with me for the interview. I assume you removed the company names that were on them?
