Revit MEP Conduit Run Tags

Anyone know how to select and tag conduit runs? I have been trying to find ways to get an overall length of conduit runs in a schedule table and finally figured out that if I use the 'Conduit without Fittings' families and create a 'Conduit Run' schedule, I can get those lengths. However I also want to assign a conduit number to each run and display it in the different views. I created a parameter and added it to the schedule, but I can not find a way to tag that number in the plan views and section views.

Have you had any luck with assigning numbered tags? I'm trying to do a similar thing, numbering sewer stacks rising through a building.
