Default demensions show backward in paperspace

In paperspace I have a left and right view. If i dimension something in left view it appears backwards in right. do i need to duplicate geometry for right view to dimension it there also? or is there a way to fix the reversed dimension?

You should create different layers for right, respectively left view's dimensions and freeze them partially in other viewport.

It sounds like you are dimensioning in modelspace, right? Seems only natural then. I prefer dimensioning in paperspace.
