i have no idea how to model this ramp...
one diversion of the ramp goes down and one goes up to the fountain....level difference is from 0 to 4mtrs....ramp starts from 0 and fountain level is 4mtrs.

This is something where you need alot of measurements to be able to do correctly. Just having a difference in lvl hieght would probably not be enough.

You could do this a couple of ways tho, use a poly line where the centre of the road is, then make a rectangle and extrude it along the path.

Or you could subtract lots of solids away from each other until you get the shape of the ramp(s). The first way would prob be easiest.

But when your working on this look at it in 2 parts. Do the ramp going up first, then do the ramp going down 2nd. But without more informative measurements i cant help with this.

Well you could do it using RULEURF. Create a line across the width of the road, at an elevation. Create another line a distance away, say a few feet, at another elevation. Using 'rulesurf' create a surface between them. You could use polar array to create multiple lines along the ramp. Assign elevations. Rulesurf between each. You can probably think of some shortcuts after doing this a while.

    Default ramp

    Haneet22,

Not a straightforward one, but i drew a basic ramp recently using meshes along with the m2s lisp and extruding the kerb profile along a 3d polyline etc. Hope this helps:

    Default Circular Ramp

I just found this site and thought I'd give my input. I have to agree with Safwah. You need to provide some civil measurements (e.g. elevations of road and landscaping, complete dimensions, type of curbing, what the fountain might look like and any other information that'll allow this project to be completed ) Just providing a site plan with none of the above mentioned, would make the task impossible. Sure I could give you a 3D of the drawing if it were flat, but that's not the case. If you can give me what I mentioned and a link to it, I'll give it a stab.

I don't know where this project is located obviously, but you'll most likely have to conform to some type of maximum slope for disabled persons access. Additionaly you'll need to use minimum slopes for water runoff, and you should probably get a grading plan for your landscaped area... meaning call a Civil Engineer.

However, if this is a "toy" project.
You can hand clac various points along the center line pretty easily. Then draw them in.
