How to export a TABLE to Excel?

Without access to the Excel file I can't tell you what the problem might be. I have used the DATALINK and DATALINKUPDATE commands about a dozen times and have never had a problem with updating in either direction.

 

Did you test this in a new drawing to see if it works?

Your test Excel file update in both directions for me.

 

Did you save your test drawing before attempting a datalink update?

 

Not in the video he didn't.

Aslo most times I have to close out the Excell file and reopen it to see the changes. (that's with Map3D)

I did not have to close out then reopen the Excel file. After I changed it I did save it before running DATALINKUPDATE.

 

That's why I add the "that's with Map3D" to the end :) Map CAN use another method to link to the excel files.

yes I do.

Look this picture maybe there is some thing wrong the path.

I did not see the save or a Qsave command in the video, and yes the path may be the problem if the folder "TEST" is not in the support / project paths in your options you may need to use the Full Path.
