Can I set the Studio Video preview fps higher than 3? And my rendering cut short?

Hi, just did my first rendering on Inventor 2K12 and the 30 second video got cut off at 12 seconds set at 8 fps at Low Antialiasing at 600x480. When it "Finished" it claimed the rendering was complete and gave me a snap shot of the final frame as well. Does anybody know the cause of that? A solution for future renderings?

In the meantime, I am trying to figure out how to increase the fps of the animation timeline in studio (before rendering) for a demo to the bosses. Anybody know this one either?

What are your computer stats? Real-time rendering takes a LOT of horsepower. My workstation doesn't handle it all that well, and it's a Xeon E3-1280 w/16 GB.
