Layer Filter/Group lisp routine?

I have been seraching for some time now for a specfic lisp routine or some direction. When creating different plans, such as a site plans, floor plans, roof plans, etc., my layer types are named specifically. I am trying to fins a routine in which I could for example type floor, and all my layers for that plan would be all that are on. I have used routines like this before but unable to locate anything similar or any direction. Any help would be great.

Thanks

If you use common layer names eg wall-1 wall-2 floor-1 floor-2 then a simple -la s wall-1 off * on wall* will work, can add lots of layer at same time when doing ON
