mcjohn
Hi, I'm using AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012 and wondering how can I set surface contour labels to not scale in different layouts? I tend to have multiple E size (44" wide) all the way down to 8.5"x11" size layouts in a drawing and so can't simply set the scale in model space to that of (different) scales in different size layouts as would be possible with only 1 layout. I find I have to constantly change the label style (to change the text height) depending on what layout I'm using. This is an issue with survey points labels as well. Thanks! SLW210
I moved this to the Civil 3D & LDD. Does Civil 3D have annotation scaling?
CyberAngel
The general idea in Civil 3D is that all labels are annotative. If your labels don't appear properly, try turning the viewport off and then on again. The labels will change to their proper size. I don't know why that works, I just know that it works.
