Sudio vs Project file animation

I am new to the animation parts of Inventor and have messed around with both the animation in Studio and as a project file, but what I am curious about is which is better, more practical? I am working on an assembly video showing how the product will be built, i.e. which bolt goes where and in what order.

What are your opinions on the two?

I don't know what this means? I assume you meant as a Presentation file (*.ipj).

For your need I would use Inventor Studio.

The only reason I would use *.ipn is for exploded views with trails on static drawing view.
