Mica
Hi all, I want to do something, and I don't know how. Here is explanation: I want to draw something in AutoCAD by blocks (which have attributes), and when I export attributes to excel (with 'data extraction') I would like if that data can be automatically linked with CAD attributes, so when I change data in excel and do reload in CAD I can see changes in CAD. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Best regards, Milan
SLW210
Use the Express tools ATTOUT (Export Attribute Information) and ATTIN (Import Attribute Information).
Mica
Thank you SLW. With ATTOUT, as I see, I can only export data to file.txt. I would like to export it to excel file. It's important to have just one step, not two (I know I can export first from file.dwg to file.txt. and then from file.txt to excel. Do you have some hints?
