FLDesigner
I have a builder client who sends house plans in dwg. Recently, I have been receiving a folder full of dwg files for every room, options, etc.. When I try to open, say, the first floor plan, only dimensions show up. If I open up bedroom 3, only that bedroom shows, with no dims or context. How do I get one complete plan all together?
CyberAngel
Apparently they're all xrefed into each other. You'll have to find the one drawing at the top of the chain. Better yet, get the client to tell you which one you're supposed to use. Welcome to the forum!
nestly
Yep, there should be one drawing in there that references all the others. If you can't identify it by it's name, you may be able to identify it by the preview as you scroll through the files in the AutoCAD "Open" dialog box.... (look for one that either looks like a "complete" drawing, or one with a titleblock/border) ... or call him as suggested above.
